Job Description

ERP Implementation Specialist for a 12 to 18 month fixed term contract based in Skipton, West Yorkshire. You will be fully in charge of managing a cradle to grave project of a new ERP system.

This will include;

  • full assessment of the groups systems and operations currently to identify the best and most appropriate ERP system for them
  • liaising and working closely with the Founder, the Finance and Operations Director & leadership team
  • Dealing with the vendors, negotiating the price and contracts where appropriate
  • Setting the strategy and execution of the implementation plan

Your remit will be to ensure the ERP is developed and integrated in line with my clients requirements and needs whilst ensuring that the chosen ERP software runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. You must have the skills set, to develop and oversee solutions for any shortcomings that may arise.

Areas that you will assess across the company's business might include business processes, employee communications, HR, Finance, R&D but not limited to these areas and you will be responsible for ensuring that all levels of the company are informed and collaborating effectively on the implementation of the process. The ideal candidate for this position will be a technically-minded person who is able to understand complex systems and juggle multiple systems at the same time.

You will come in with extensive knowledge of software and ERP systems with proven expertise of identifying and delivering full implementations previously.

Problem-Solving skills are prerequisite and you will need to be able to think creatively and resolve problems to ensure the smoothest possible experience for users of the ERP software throughout the implementation and go live period.

Communication and Presentation Skills - The ERP Consultant is responsible for presenting a full plan to management, as well as for teaching the ins and outs of the upgraded system to employees. As such, you will need strong communication skills to be able to get complex ideas across in an easy-to-understand fashion.
