IT Support Engineer - Doncaster - £26k
Windows 2008 Server / Windows XP / Windows 7 / Active Directory / Unix / AIX
My market leading client are looking to recruit an IT Support Engineer to work out of their busy offices based near Doncaster. You will be responsible for providing a high level of service & to support through performing routine checks & providing email & telephone support to around 1000 PC users.
Some of the duties involved in this role will include password resets, general user administration, desktop rebuilds/maintenance, general helpdesk duties (call logging and escalation) - so excellent communication skills are essential, software and hardware support, setting up new users & responding within agreed time limits to call-outs.
Technically they are looking for someone with a mix of technical skills to include,
- Windows Server 2008/2012+.
- Unix / AIX support
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange 2013 / Office 365
- Windows 7/ 8 Desktop
They are looking for someone who is customer focused, with experience of providing advice and guidance to customers over the telephone, e-mail and Internet with a proven track record of service delivery as well as being an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with the ability of working within a demanding environment and be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving. Anyone with any experience working in a pathology environment would be extremely beneficial
